The Baymont Inn and Suites Groton/Mystic located at 360 Rt 12 Groton, CT is seeking a Part-Time Van Driver for Friday, Saturday and an occasional Sunday night to join our guest services team. Must be available for holidays.
Your responsibilities may include:
Safely driving passengers to the Mohegan Sun Casino and back and other local destinations per management's instructions. Ability to follow a schedule is important. Must maintain a clean driving record and ensure guest safety at all times.
Greet arriving and departing guests in a friendly, timely and efficient manner. With a strong emphasis on exceptional guest service.
Knowledge of the regions visitor attractions/restaurants/stores is a must.
Daily vehicle inspection report/log must be completed at the start of shift.
All vehicle fluids/tire pressure/fuel level will be checked daily at the start of your shift and logged, regarding levels and corrective measures taken to replenish fluids/tire pressure/fuel level if low. Any maintenance issues/concerns must be logged and a supervisor is to be notified immediately.
Any damage to the van must be reported to the supervisor on duty immediately. Any changes to your driving record such as tickets or accidents must be disclosed to your supervisor immediately.
Required Qualifications:
Valid Connecticut driver's license
Clean Driving record. DMV history will be checked.
Maintain a clean driving record and ensure guest safety at all times.
Exceptional customer service skills.
Desired Qualifications:
Past Livery experience desired. But not required.
State of Connecticut DMV license with an F endorsement.
You may also be asked to drive to a train station, airport, or ferry terminal. Knowledge of routes to airports in Boston and New York preferred.
