Primary Responsibilities:
Perform primary and secondary research as assigned to optimize targets and indications for new medical technologies.
Create and implement product test plans/protocols and generate test reports to ensure product design meets specifications and quality system requirements.
Collaborate with peers to manage the development of appropriate testing to verify product meets internal and external customer requirements.
Analyze experimental data and prepare reports and presentations to summarize findings and conclusions.
Use techniques, theories, and tools to identify and develop solutions to challenging technical problems.
Minimum Qualifications:
BS in Biomedical Engineering or similar with 3+ years relevant lab/research experience
or MS or PhD in Biomedical Engineering or similar with 2+ years of relevant lab/research experience.
Demonstrated ability in benchtop and ex vivo experimental design and execution
Demonstrated ability in preclinical, in vivo model design and study execution; preferably large animal models.
Experience from the medical device industry.
