Job Description

Business Development Associate

The Business Development Associate is responsible for coordinating the business development activities in order to achieve company revenue targets. Reporting to the Client Service Director, this position is accountable for supporting new business opportunities for Inspira. In addition, this individual must have the ability to manage and coordinate organizational resources to create and deliver effective business proposals and pitch presentations.

JOB DUTIES

Research, organize and write new business presentations for new and existing clients

Support Director on all incoming RFP’s and manage the schedule for delivery dates

Identify competitive service strengths and weaknesses of Inspira and provide recommendations for continued improvement

Maintain working understanding of Inspira and our capabilities, and estimating structure

Assist with budget writing

Develop effective tools and resources to organize, manage, and track sales activitiesProvide summarized sales reporting on a weekly basis
Work with internal team to conduct effective brainstorming sessions to ideate for presentations and sales proposals

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree; Focus in Marketing, Public Relations, Business Administration or related field is preferred
  • 2-4 years office experience; marketing agency experience is preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a personable and calm demeanor.
  • Strong writing and copy editing skills
  • Master of Microsoft office and presentation software (specifically PPT and Keynote)
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills with an assertive approach.
  • Ability to manage and influence people who are not direct reports.
    Ability to effectively balance longer-term strategic sale planning with day-to-day tactical project issues.
    Critical thinking skills, including problem resolution and negotiation.
