We are looking for an ambitious Community Outreach Representative to be responsible for developing and growing our customer base. You will focus on generating, managing, and facilitating the customer application process to progress them through the energy efficiency program we are a part of.
To be successful as a Community Outreach Representative, you must be highly self-motivated, proactive, and have a working knowledge of current marketing tools and strategies in order to execute successful marketing campaigns.
Community Outreach Representative Responsibilities:
● Represent HCP and Energize CT programs in your local community and to all Connecticut residents;
● Establish marketing plans and goals for enrolling customers in Energize CT programs;
● Build a customer base and referral network by developing and implementing marketing strategies;
● Prepare and submit complete application packages for utility company approval on behalf of qualified customers;
● Assist customers to identify and resolve health & safety hazards;
● Participate in monthly team meetings to ensure compliance with Energize CT program policies, to improve outreach and sales skills, and to exchange best-practices and field experience with team members;
● Participate in monthly “1 on 1” meetings with supervisor to discuss strategies and areas of opportunity;
● Produce a minimum of 20 complete applications per month
● Join COR members in awareness and enrollment events in various communities; and
● Perform other duties as requested by HCP management.
Community Outreach Representative Position Requirements:
Desire to work with people and to improve communities across Connecticut
Proficient with technology and highly responsive communications via email, phone and text
Excellent written and verbal communication and ability to manage customer accounts expediently
Ability to thrive in a continuously growing organization
Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
