A busy organic vegetable farm seeks a reliable, friendly, energetic person to work Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1 pm to 7-7:30 pm and Saturdays from 7AM to 1:30 pm, from mid-May until mid-October.
The main cashiering aspect of the job requires the ability to:
use a point of sale cashier system
have a working knowledge of fresh vegetables
lift 30 lb vegetable crates
work in a fast-paced environment
To a lesser extent, the farm stand checkout work could entail a bit of greenhouse work, depending on whats needed. The greenhouse work would entail:
potting up seedlings
accurate labeling and record keeping
