We are a four-year-old medical technology company founded by a team of accomplished
entrepreneurs that have built multiple successful, multi-million dollar companies, including two
that we took public on the NASDAQ.
This company is growing rapidly and has been well funded, having raised $14.8 million dollars
to date. We have created and patented a revolutionary orthopedic rehabilitation device.
Response to the new device has been very strong, with endorsement by 126 highly respected
surgeons nationwide. First versions of the device have been sold into more than 75 hospitals
and clinics including many of the top 20 healthcare organizations in the country. We are now
nearing completion of our second product, a portable version of our first flagship device. A
growing list of surgeons are pre-ordering the product in anticipation of launch this spring.
We are in need of an enthusiastic and creative Videographer with appropriate experience in
film. This role requires speed and skill, good storytelling and attention to detail. The ideal
candidate will be capable of finding the story within interviews and bringing fresh ideas and new
perspectives to the project given.
The company is located in western Connecticut and the candidate will be working in Brookfield,
CT. We are hoping to find someone to capture the process of our manufacturing plant being
built - from inception to completion and tell the story to our stakeholders. We need this person
immediately. Will consider students with significant experience, knowledge and sample work.
The primary responsibilities include:
Digitizing and organizing all footage for use in videos
Providing creative input on initial scripts and throughout post-production
Selecting the most effective shot of a scene in terms of look, story relevance or continuity
Editing footage according to tight scripts and storyboards or loose production guidelines
Responsible for delivering the final product to the required specifications
Archiving all footage at the wrap of each job
Maintaining all editing equipment, troubleshooting problems, and actively facilitating repairs
Maintaining proper file structure and approach allowing for future edits/adaptations
Owning any other duties/responsibilities assigned by supervisor
The ideal candidate should possess:
Creative skills and ability to concept incorporating current technologies and creative forms
Strong working knowledge of industry-standard multimedia production technology, including
software and hardware
Ability to work under pressure and under deadlines, with strong follow-through abilities
Organization skills and be detail-oriented, flexible and helpful, able to multi-task, and a self-
starter
Solid communication skills and ability to work cohesively as part of a team
Proficiency in digital photo and video cameras and systems
