MAX BMW Brookfield, CT is seeking automotive/motorcycle technicians to work in the motorcycle industry.

MAX BMW is in need of motorcycle technicians. We are currently seeking experienced automotive/motorcycle technicians with a minimum of 3 years working in a commercial repair shop. As one of the busiest repair shops in the region, we provide on the job training and are looking for candidates to start immediately.

JOB TYPE: Full-time

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

High school or equivalent

3+ years experience in a shop (does not have to be motorcycle)

REQUIRED LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION:

Motorcycle driver’s license is not required to start, but you will be required to get one

Clean driving record

EXPERIENCED TECHNICIAN JOB DESCRIPTION:

Perform basic services

Perform tire changes

Assist Master Technician with larger jobs

Test ride Motorcycles

Have prior Auto or Motorcycle technician experience or equivalent training from a technical school

Responsible for maintaining appropriate skill current level by continuously developing self in terms of new technology and information in the field of Motorcycle Technician

Responsible for continued BMW training required by MAX BMW

Need basic tools

Be able to diagnose a Motorcycle

Be experienced in electrical work

Be able to work flat rate, and meet productivity numbers and efficiency numbers

Perform rear main, clutch jobs, large services, engine rebuilds, gearbox rebuilds, final drive rebuilds

Airhead knowledge a plus

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Driver’s license and motorcycle license required in order to perform work and test ride motorcycles

Work hours of operations are Tuesday to Friday 8:30 am- 6:00 pm Sat 8:00 am - 4:00 pm

High level of motivation, energy and be able to work with a team

Own basic tools needed

BMW BRAND motorcycle experience NOT required
