YardApes Inc. is seeking a Shop Assistant to help our Lead Mechanic and Crews have the very best equipment and facilities ready to service our expanding Landscape Maintenance and Construction client base!
The ideal applicant will have a wide range of mechanical skills to assist our Lead Mechanic with maintenance and and repair operations on equipment ranging from small hand tools, walk-behind and ride-on mowers, a fleet of 1-ton pickup trucks, Mitsubishi Fuso flatbeds, and heavy equipment.
You will also be expected to help the rest of our team keep cleanliness and order around our three bay shop and yard facilities to facilitate efficient operations at our busy firm.
This is a great opportunity for someone who likes to have a wide range of tasks to perform.
While there are daily core tasks during the busy season, not every day is the same.
You may find yourself assisting Crews in the field (on client property) with equipment or vehicle repairs, purchasing and retrieving parts and equipment from vendors, or even helping out with construction and maintenance tasks on client property or at our shop.
