Ski Sundown has a full-time year round position open for a Lift Mechanic. The position comes with competitive starting pay, based on experience, and a competitive benefit package, including health insurance and paid vacation time. The position requires the candidate to be willing and able to work indoors and out in extreme weather in all seasons, also requires working at heights using proper fall protection techniques. The Lift Mechanic is responsible throughout the year to thoroughly follow a preventative maintenance schedule to ensure safe and reliable operation of the chair and surface lifts. An ideal candidate will have direct experience in all facets of machine equipment repair, and have experience or be willing to learn more about the following areas: low and high voltage electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, motor drive systems, gas and diesel engine repair, welding and fabrication.
