United States of America - Connecticut, Rocky HillJob SummaryAECOM is actively seeking anEnvironmental Specialist for employment in Rocky Hill, CT.Prior experience with utility and transportation projects is highly desirable as is comprehensive knowledge of the following environmental permit programs:Federal –
U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - Sections 404 of the Clean Water Act and Section 10 of the Rivers & Harbors Act.
U.S. Environmental Protection Agency – Section 402 of the Clean Water Act (NPDES)
CT –
Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection - Inland Wetlands , Coastal Wetlands, Section 401 of the Federal Clean Water Act, and the Water and Materials Management Division.
The responsibilities will include:
Review and prepare documents, reports, presentations, technical memoranda, and other work products with a focus on regulatory compliance, technical adequacy, and impact assessment.
Review design plans for potential environmental impacts.
Interface with clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders.
Perform site reviews for natural and water resource
Perform site inspections on active construction projects for environmental compliance with existing permits and regulatory programs

High School Diploma plus 4 years or more of demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
