Sikorsky in Stratford, CT is seeking an Aerospace Engineer with experience in Handling Qualities and Control Laws (CLAW). The job entails analyses and simulation evaluations to determine the stability and control characteristics of the helicopter. These activities include the conduct of handling qualities assessments of helicopter designs using the Sikorsky developed flight dynamics model (GenHel), the creation of simulation models, and flight test support activities.Basic Qualifications:The candidate must have a background in flight dynamics, stability and control, simulation modeling, and frequency domain analysis. Qualifications include a background in Aerospace Engineering. Candidate requires an understanding of classical stability and analysis techniques in practical applications. Candidate should possess multi-tasking abilities, have a client focus, and work effectively in a time sensitive environment.
