Description: Successful candidate must be able to:-Perform repairs, overhauls, and/or modifications on various aircraft components in accordance with FAA approved procedures, OEM manuals, and drawings.-Perform basic duties on sheet metal and composite components, including riveting, sandblasting, metal grinding and forming with hand tools.-Work independently with limited supervision.-Consistently and accurately disassemble, clean, evaluate, perform repairs, modifications and assemble components in accordance with approved data.-Write in a clear and concise manner the results of evaluations and be able to communicate repair requirements.-Adhere to EH&S requirements, FAA & EASA regulations, company rules, policies, procedures and corporate initiatives.-Must be able to work well with others, assist leadsperson in the daily operation of the shop floor and also provide training as needed.-Work occasional overtime as required to support business requirements.Basic Qualifications:The successful candidate must have demonstrated ability in utilizing component overhaul manuals, blueprints, basic shop principles, and various inspection methods, techniques, and tools.Must be familiar with FAA rules and regulations.Must be competent in the use of torque wrenches.If you are hired, you will be performing an important safety-sensitive job covered by the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
