DescriptionAn enterprise print, mail and customer communication provider in the Wilton area is seeking an experienced Credit & Collections Representative to join their team. The Credit and Collection Representative collects on a designated portion of the AR portfolio contacting high risk delinquent accounts. Maintain good customer relations and effectively troubleshoots customer issues in order to resolve account delinquency and prevent losses.Job Responsibilities:
Initiate outbound calls and receiving inbound calls from customers. While adhering to company policies and procedures
Respond to any emails and process any disputes in a timely manner
Reviews and prioritizes accounts based on delinquency and balance on the account.
Negotiates account resolution and accurately inputs and documents actions within the collection systems while maintaining company performance and productivity standards.
Decipher the Customer AP Process for high risk accounts to expedite payment.
Provides detailed but concise account updates to management as requested.
Maintains up-to-date customer contact information in the collections systems.
Researches and analyzes customer disputes to validate billing.
Work with other departments to clear, correct, and/or bill customers.
Escalates customer facing issues to management within a reasonable time frame.
Serves as a resource/subject matter expert and may provide training to fellow team members
Reconcile customer accounts.
Ability to adhere to strict timelines and collection forecast.
Requirements
5+ years' experience in a credit and collections environment.
Ability to work independently and maintain accuracy.
Strong attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient computer skills.
Previous B2B collections experience.
Experience in a manufacturing company a plus
Knowledge of Dynamics 365 and Excel a plus
