POSITION OBJECTIVE
This individual will be responsible for the innovation and end-to-end launch of software solutions developed by the company’s Solutions Engineering Center (SEC). Continuously reviewing business needs, refining priorities, outlining milestones and deliverables, identifying opportunities and risks, this individual will bring passion and excellence to help SEC develop and deliver advanced technology solutions for our customers. The SEC Product Owner will be the main driver of the vision, strategy, features, and prioritization of SEC products.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Define goals and create a vision for SEC development projects.
• Collaborate with the company’s teams (both global and US) and customers to drive products and features throughout the product lifecycle.
• Defines and executes go-to-market plans, working to ensure that product management, marketing, and sales have what they need to be successful.
• Develops and maintains appropriate tracking and reporting of product performance post-launch to evaluate future investment.
• Develops, owns, and executes the product road map.
• Leads the product functional design process based on intimate knowledge of the users and technology.
• Communicates with all stakeholders (e.g., customers, development team, business managers, etc.) to make sure that everyone involved with the product is up to speed on the product goals and how those goals are in line with business objectives.
• Come up with backlog items that align with SEC objectives, prioritize those items, map out project dependencies, and create product plans to implement the most efficient sequence of development.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Ideal candidate would hold a degree in a technical field (e.g., Marketing, Business Analysis, Communications, etc.) and/or a marketing degree, while having experience and/or technical knowledge of software. The Product Owner must have experience in project management, familiarity with high performing work environments, excellent communication and leadership skills.
