Supply Chain employees have the opportunity to network across our businesses and functions, all while improving the productivity, quality and efficiency of our operations worldwide.Play a dynamic role in our fast-paced Supply Chain Team, where we deliver premium customer service support to our Pratt & Whitney customer across several jet engine platforms. We are part of the Supply Chain Organization at Collins, where we procure and track hardware in support of jet engine manufacturing for both military and commercial programs. We are responsible for all levels of communication from beginning to end. In other words, we own the entire communication stream from the supply base for over 150 suppliers around the world, to internal Collins communication, through the final customer interface. We interact with engineering, quality, contracts, and procurement teams at Collins to ensure the customer priority is represented and that risks are mitigated for our supply base.As a Supply Chain Co-Op, you will have an opportunity to tune into the customer’s daily needs and inner operations, along with procurement and delivery hurdles. You will work with a team of Associates who to collect statuses and develop and track metrics for our customer. You will play an integral part in identifying risks to help your teammates breakdown barriers. The information that you will be responsible for will allow us to communicate with the customer, identify where risks lay, and implement strategic improvement courses of action.Minimum GPA of 3.0; semester standing of AT LEAST Sophomore; Proficiency in Microsoft Excel needed. You must be enrolled in a university while interning at Collins and available to work 40 hours a week. Most co-ops either take a semester off, do an independent study program through their university, or take night classes while interning at Collins. Co-op hours typically run between 8am and 4:30pm Monday-Friday. Most terms run for an 8-month period.
