DescriptionAre you an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk that is looking for a short-term temporary position? Accountemps is currently trying to fill this position with a candidate that wants to become a crucial part in a team environment. Matching, batching, and coding invoices, processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L, processing checks, and resolving A/P issues are just a few of the responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Clerk. You will be working alongside a strong staff of hard working individuals who have a team minded approach. This Accounts Payable Clerk opportunity will be located in the Delaware, Ohio area and will be a short-term temporary position.What you get to do every single day
Perform special projects as assigned
Implement full-cycle A/P
Maintain proper storage of invoices, checks, and other documents by organizing, logging, scanning, and filing them
Handle the administrative needs of the AP/Finance Department
Provide support to internal business partners
Verify, log and send checks, including facilitating special handling
Open, sort, and distribute daily department mail
Facilitate internal and external audits as needed
Execute daily processes and controls accurately and in a timely manner; ensuring compliance with company policies

Great attention to detail
Demonstrated communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds
Prior experience in an A/P role preferred
Expertise in Microsoft Great Plains Dynamics
Solid understanding of Accounts Payable (AP)
AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
Working knowledge of spreadsheets and databases
