Talula’s Table is seeking a motivated Prep Cook interested in a self-driven, gourmet, true farm to table kitchen. The job includes prepping a variety of daytime market foods, catering items, as well as farm to table tasting menus. Full time, daytime and evening hours available. Must be available for weekends and have reliable transportation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Create and follow a daily prep list
Label and stock and ingredients and recipes so they can be organized and easily accessible
Proper rotation of prepped recipes (FIFO)
Receiving orders while making sure products are the company specs
Signing for products in chef’s absence
Perform other kitchen duties that are provided by Chef
Maintain tidy and organized stock of purchased items
Operates kitchen in compliance with Department of Health standards
