We are currently looking for full time Dental Insurance coordinator who can handle multitasking in a fast paced environment. The practice is in a phase of growth and expansion and is looking for an individual to verify patient insurance, submit insurance and check on overdue claims. Individual must be proficient and understand dental insurance extremely well!Individual must be able to communicate well and help patients understand the importance of completing their dental treatment as it directly contributes to the growth of the practice.
Responsibilities and Duties
Check for eligibility and breakdowns on multiple insurance websites
Call insurance companies to check for eligibility and breakdowns
Call and confirms patients appointments
Coordinate and arrange appointments
Assist patients to complete all necessary forms and documentation
Verify and update patient information
Inform patients of dental office procedures and policy
Answer and manage incoming calls
Collect and receive payments from patients at time of treatment
Inform patients of financial treatment plan options
Prepare claim forms for dental insurance, arrange and submit supporting documents for insurance claims
Work collaboratively with the entire dental team to ensure an optimal experience for patients
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills
Minimum of 1 yearof dental billing experience
Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures and diagnosis
Strong leadership qualities
Strong organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Have a warm, inviting personality to connect with patients
