Dermatology medical office looking for a part-time or full-time medical assistant to join our team. Students looking to gain experience prior to applying to physician assistant, nursing, or medical schools are especially encouraged to apply. We have had students come through who have gone on to matriculate at medical schools and nursing schools.
Prior healthcare experience is helpful, but we are also open to training candidates who possess the right mindset and work ethic. Eager minds are particularly welcome, and you will be taught personally about disease processes and advanced aspects of medicine from the doctors here.
Job Description:
Responsibilities will include all aspects of clinical care including assisting with procedures & surgeries, operating laser devices, rooming patients, and handling phone calls from patients. The ideal candidate will have excellent computer skills, excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, and ability to multi-task.
