Full-time Certified Medical Assistant position available for an individual who is dependable, energetic, enthusiastic and willing to work hard. A busy pediatric practice with a pleasant work environment in Newark, Delaware, is looking to fill a position for a medical assistant for approximately 35 hours per week. Hours may vary and include a Saturday rotation from 8 AM - 1 PM (approximately once a month) and two evenings per week from noon until 8 PM.
Responsibilities include: Rooming patients with vital signs and weight (Practice uses an electronic medical record so must feel comfortable using a computer.) *Stock exam rooms daily. Administer immunizations to pediatric patients newborn to age 18. Manage vaccine inventory. Manage supply ordering in the office. Manage telephone messages from patients, calls from providers and pharmacies in a professional and efficient manner. Make appointments for patients and be able to check patients in and out.
This is a terrific position for a self-starting motivated individual who is interested in going above and beyond for the success of the practice. Dependability and flexibility are key to this position.
**MUST BE a Certified MA with pediatric or family practice experience.**
