Hello,
We will be moving to Laurel in August. I have 3 special needs adult children. I am seeking support or assistance for only one of them, Mary. She is 28, we refer to her as tank. She is non verbal, but makes her needs completely known. She has intellectual impairments, however she is as smart as a whip. I am looking for someone to come over twice a week, 3 hours each time to help out while I acclimate to the property and help tend to others things. The ideal candidate would be:
Female, as she is incontinent.
Someone who understands ASL.
Someone who loves to laugh and learn.
Things to note:
We have 2 large shepherd dogs. A cat and knowing us within weeks, many other creepy crawlers.
Our other daughter has seizures and medical needs. Emily only signs. Our son stays pretty much to himself. But when he does engage its usually a pretty cool interaction.
I treasure my privacy, safety and family, dearly! I hope to find someone who can be as dedicated to us as we can be to them.
It's a simple 3 step process

2. Pass a police back ground and sexual abuse check.
3. Make a 6 month commitment to us and we to you then.
