Home/ Community Assistant required for disabled 21 year old
We are seeking a staff support personnel to provide in home support including teaching/ monitoring and general assistance for tasks like shopping, household chores, community outings. The support recipient has some cognitive delays but with guidance can develop skill and learn tasks. Hours can be flexible for excellent candidates but preference for availability between hours of 9AM to 3:30 PM. Position requires background check and valid drivers license Must be able to communicate clearly (writing/verbally).Working environment is very positive. Good opportunity for college students in OT, PT, early education, or psychology or Moms with school age children.
