Volt Workforce Solutions is currently searching for a Logistics Coordinator for our client in Wilmington, DE.Hours: Monday “ Friday 7:00 AM “ 3:30 PMDuration: 12 monthsPay Rate: 15.50 hourIn order to improve the efficiency of our refurbishment operation, we are looking for an individualwho can define, create, implement, and sustain several key operational material coordination functions. They may include, but are not limited to:Receiving, unpacking, storing, and distributing repair parts while maintaining inventory accuracy and adhering to all financial compliance requirementsAssembling and staging repair part kits for our refurbishment teamPulling and staging un-refurbished units based on order demand for our refurbishment teamPerforming recycling and separation of discarded used assemblies for disposalCoordinating and ordering replenishment quantities of repair parts for the Little Falls and our US contract manufacturerSupporting the strategic activities to integrate the PLRB refurb bench into SAP ECCA successful candidate will demonstrate flexibility, willingness to take risks, and creativity in the daily routine.Minimum Requirements: Ability to bag or package small parts: high level of manual dexterityCommunication skills: demonstrated ability to give/receive oral or written information clearlyTeamwork: demonstrated ability to work with others to create and accomplish a common goalFlexibility: demonstrated ability to adjust rapidly and effectively to change and remain open to new ideasQuality system orientation: demonstrated use of tools, methods and processes to ensure that own/others work meet quality standardsResponsibility/ownership: demonstrated willingness to take responsibility for resolving problems, personally championing new ideas or solutions to these problemsGeneral computer literacy: effective use of computer applications to perform work or testingNo known allergies to industrial chemicals used in the work area; may be required to participate in medical training/screening or monitoring programs.Ability to routinely lift 35 poundsDemonstrated ability to bend, reach, stoop, and remain standing for extended periods of time (Up to 4-6 hours per day)Steel Toes are required.Candidate must consent to criminal background screeningVolt offers competitive compensation, the chance to work with some of the worlds leading companies, and a staff committed to helping you take the next step on your career path.
