Summary
To fuel all vehicles through the service line. Perform visual vehicle inspections and minor repairs to equipment.
Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Perform fuel and repair task within reasonable times set by management
Complete DOT / Service Line Inspection Reports and other documents in a timely manner
Constant communication with Garage Leadership and Drivers to support equipment concerns
Complete Minor Repairs not limited to Gladhand Seals, Light Fixtures, etc.
Perform various inspections to equipment not limited too Tires, Trailers, and Tractor Inspections etc
Complete General Maintenance of facility following 5-s Guidelines
Minimum Education
High School or equivalent
Experience Requirements Experience Preferred Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements
Intermittent sitting, standing, stooping, crouching, walking, lifting of light and heavy objects. Must regularly lift and / or move up to 50 lbs.
and occasionally lift and / or move more than 100 lbs. Required to sit, stand, walk use hands to finger, handle, feel, talk, hear, to reach with hands or arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and smell.
Must be able to lay on back on a mechanic's dolly to work underneath motor vehicle equipment. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Associate must be free of any conditions which result in temporary loss of consciousness or ability to reason. Work is performed with exposure to noise, chemicals, noxious odors gases, poor ventilation, inclement weather, dirt, grease, dust and machinery with moving parts requiring use of protective devices.
