What will you do?As a member of the Performance and Technical Support teams to deliver the Train Service Spares Support Agreement (TSSSA) objectives, delivering high performance in safety, performance and reliability, measured by cost, quality and customer satisfaction. Develop strong and successful relationships with the customer. Ensure the fleet of trains is fully compliant with all Rail regulations, group standards and Siemens Policies. Drive increased productivity and quality through strong know-how, experience, successful collaboration and innovative thinking.The main location of day to day work for this position is within the customer offices located in downtown MontrealKey Responsibilities:

Develop and contribute to KPIs related to the contract deliverables, to monitor and control the progress of the targets, driving business improvement.Participate and adhere to the strategic short, medium- and long-term goals.

Participate in regular reviews with customer representatives and demonstrate improved product performance and customer satisfaction by supporting them in their business objectives.

Be the first point of contact for the resolution of out of course events for the customer.

Ensure a professional communication style and develop a relationship with the customer that provides a stable foundation for the business.

Collaborate with the customer to explore opportunities for mutual benefit.

Ensure specific contractual and customer requirements are met, participating in internal contract reviews.

Interaction with support functions and key suppliers to ensure on time delivery of material and services, participating in performance reviews when required.

Responsible for monitoring progress and measuring success.

Produce and maintain evidence in an agreed format to demonstrate that the business has met the contract deliverables.

Drive productivity improvement using continuous improvement and six sigma techniques, to support strategic targets.

Ensure fleet is compliance with Rail regulations, group standards and Siemens policies.

Engage with head quarters engineering organisation for reactive and proactive fleet improvements.

Support the implementation and the ongoing management of the performance regime, monitoring reliability and performance trends and developing improvement proposals .

What will you need to succeed?Essential:

or mechanical engineering or DEC in mechanical or electrical technical engineering with equivalent experience

·Broad technical understanding of Rolling Stock industry, with in-depth knowledge of Rolling Stock maintenance techniques, procedures and best practices

Very good knowledge of French and English both written and spoken, with excellent communication skills in both languages

Leadership, customer service, strategic innovation and influencing skills

Experience of managing budgets

Knowledge of continuous improvement techniques and principles

Preferred:

Preferred experience of supervising and leading multi-functional teams in a rail environment

Rolling Stock Fleet introduction experience

Previous experience of managing P&L

Contract and commercial experience

Experience of negotiating with workplace representatives
