Our client is looking for a Data & Voice Engineer to join their team. This is a 6+ month contract role with the possibility to extend and possibly turn into a permanent position. They are looking for someone who will be able to help them with their integration and is able to handle a lot of moving parts. This role will start remotely and then it will be based out of either their Philadelphia, PA or Wilmington, DE location.

Position Description:

• Administrating VOIP Services including Cisco Call Manager, Cisco Unity Connections, Cisco Contact Center, and other various monitoring and vendor related tools.


• Configure and support routing protocols for WAN (MPLS, OSPF, EIGRP, etc.) and install/troubleshoot T1, Cable, FIOS, Metro-Ethernet connections.


• Provide requirements/recommendations to Facilities and Cabling Contractors for site-specific cabling infrastructure requirements.


• Help manage Cisco wireless networks with various accesses (associate, guest, vendor, personal devices, etc.), as well as public WiFi access through a specific vendor.


• Serve as a primary escalation point for Voice and Data systems related problems, and will be accountable for identifying and resolving root causes.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of experience providing hands-on operational support for complex highly available environments.


• Experience with VOIP Services including Cisco Call Manager, Cisco Unity Connections, Cisco Contact Center, and other various monitoring and vendor related tools.


• CCNP highly preferred - CCIE a plus.


• Experience with routing, switching, and wireless.


• Must have reliable transportation and the ability to travel within the company's footprint in the Greater Philadelphia area and Southern NJ - 10% travel


• Must be able to translate technical requirements and details to both technical and non-technical customers.


• Must be able to prioritize tasks to ensure timely completion.


• Must demonstrate strong analytical skills with the ability to identify problems and generate practical solutions in a logical manner.


• Must have effective and professional written and verbal communication skills.


• Must have excellent customer service skills to service internal customers, balancing the needs of the Associate and business line with the workload of the technical team.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to stand or sit for long periods and have the ability to reach, crawl, kneel, and balance.


• Lay cable as needed.


• Ability to lift up to 50lbs on occasion.
