Through digital listening and patient analytics, we are able to understand our customers’ needs and strive to provide solutions to meet them.This Associate Director reports to the US Marketing Leader for the Gram-Negative Antibiotics franchise within the Hospital and Specialty Business Unit. This Engagement Strategy and Execution role will be responsible for driving the execution of the brand strategies through collaboration with Sales Leadership, Marketing, the Digital Engagement Team (DET), Learning & Development and the US Anti-Infective Sales team. Additionally, this role will also be responsible for overseeing data analytics and customer insights to evaluate performance and diagnose areas of opportunity.Primary Responsibilities:Partner with multiple stakeholders and the sales force in all aspects of preparation, planning and ongoing integration related to product promotion, customer engagement and strategy execution.

Leverage knowledge of the customer and engagement data to ensure a cohesive omnichannel customer experience, identify gaps and opportunities and to maximize performance.

Lead the strategies for setting and achieving KPIs, executional frameworks and counter-competitive plans.

Collaborate with Field Sales and Sales Training to identify and prioritize training and development.

Responsible for the development of executional and field-support brand resources.

The ideal candidate will be able to quickly develop relationships and garner the respect of a diverse set of stakeholders by exhibiting a broad set of leadership skills, including accountability, listening and responsiveness, critical thinking and excellent communication.

Education Requirements:Required: BA/BS

Preferred: MBA

Required Experience and Skills:A minimum of 2 years Pharma/ Biotech experience OR a minimum of 3 years combined strategic marketing, brand management, sales or business support experience in any industry, is required

Strong written/ verbal communication skills as demonstrated through experience in strategy & marketing business case communication, sales interface, direct customer engagement and/or sales presentations

Requires up to 20% travel

Preferred Experience and Skills:Experience in the hospital segment, within an infectious disease therapeutic area

Experience in a highly regulated environment (with medical/ legal review processes)

Demonstrated ability to leverage data analytics and/or customer and market insights to make business decisions

Strong project management skills as demonstrated by prioritizing activities, using resources optimally, establishing appropriate deadlines and ensuring on-time delivery

To be acceptable, the program must: (1) lead to a bachelor’s degree in a school of engineering with at least one program accredited by ABET; or (2) include differential and integral calculus and courses (more advanced than first-year physics and chemistry) in five of the following seven areas of engineering science or physics: (a) statics, dynamics; (b) strength of materials (stress-strain relationships); (c) fluid mechanics, hydraulics; (d) thermodynamics; (e) electrical fields and circuits; (f) nature and properties of materials (relating particle and aggregate structure to properties); and (g) any other comparable area of fundamental engineering science or physics, such as optics, heat transfer, soil mechanics, or electronics. OR B. Combination of education and experienceCollege-level education, training, and/or technical experience that furnished (1) a thorough knowledge of the physical and mathematical sciences underlying engineering, and (2) a good understanding, both theoretical and practical, of the engineering sciences and techniques and their applications to one of the branches of engineering.
