ICF is currently seeking a talented Database Administrator to support a large federal IT system modernization program to improve the lives of children in foster care. You will work with our customer and program subject matter experts to understand the business goals and objectives of the system. In this role you will be analyzing database requirements and applying knowledge of database management systems to coordinate maintenance and changes to databases. The DBA shall provide onsite support in Washington DC, however, may work offsite with approval of CB COR. Expected travel is approximately 8 trips per year averaging 5 days per trip.RESPONSIBILITIES
Testing and implementing changes or new database designs
Providing direction to programmers and analysts as required to affect changes to database management systems
Managing the overall administration of the CB child welfare reporting systems to include coordination and approval of defect repairs, change requests, prioritization of new requirements, user access/permissions and account management
Providing expertise in business process analysis, design, improvement, and implementation and in translating business process needs into business, stakeholder and functional requirements
Providing expertise in change management and training support
Providing organizational and strategic planning for a wide variety of functional environments
What you must have:
Bachelor’s Degree
US Citizenship. Employment must be compliant with eligibility for Clearance due to Government Contract.
3 or more year's experience in UNIX environment, C programming language, Extensible Markup Language (XML), ORACLE and ORACLE tools, specifically SQLLOADER and SQLPLUS

Expertise of SQL and ORACLE extensions to SQL
Expertise of PowerBuilder
Expertise of Managed File Transfer software or other secure electronic data transfer protocol software
Expertise in web programming
Familiarity with federal cybersecurity requirements
