Description
You might be perfect for Robert Half's Desktop Support Technician role if you have a flair for clearly breaking down and explaining convoluted technical information in a way that is easily understood by non-technical users. This Desktop Support Analyst role is a long-term contract / temporary opportunity based in the Washington, District of Columbia, area.
Major responsibilities
- Administer support on a variety of computer hardware and software issues by identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems
- Keep up, explore, and fix computer systems, hardware, printers, and computer peripherals
- Settle computer problems, and offer suggestions on appropriate action/solutions
- Support records of daily data communication transactions, issues and remedial actions taken or installation activities
- Supply computer desktop support in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Organize hardware repairs with the appropriate vendors
- Interface regularly and effectively with ticket submitters
Requirements
- Proficiency in O 365
- Knowledge of Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP)
- Customer Support experience preferred
- Proven knowledge of Hardware Troubleshooting
- Microsoft Teams experience highly desired
- Active Directory experience desired
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, user instructions, and procedure manuals
- Desktop support or related experience
