If you are selected at the NB-III level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform all these duties and will receive training to help you grow in this position.As an Examination Technician in SyRIS, you will: Coordinate with Supervision System and Analytical Support (SSAS) to obtain supervision data and other supervisory information related to SyRIS actions.Provide document and data reporting support as needed for the Shared National Credit (SNC) program, Dodd-Frank Act Stress Testing (DFAST), and Coordinated Cyber Reviews led by SyRIS.Review and research relevant regulations and procedural requirements associated with targeted SyRIS review topics and designated banks.Assist SyRIS program staff in identifying supervisory and/or administrative business process improvements, and recommend improvements associated with assigned SyRIS areas such as document tracking and consistency, correspondence, records retention, and protecting sensitive information.Prepare spreadsheets, custom bank performance reports, correspondence, and other documents for conclusion/close-out activities.RequirementsConditions of EmploymentComplete a one-year probationary period (unless already completed).Complete a background investigation (unless already completed).Complete a Declaration for Federal Employment to determine your suitability for Federal employment.Have your salary sent to a financial institution of your choice by Direct Deposit/Electronic Funds Transfer.Go through a Personal Identity Verification (PIV) process that requires two forms of identification from the Form I-9. Federal law requires verification of the identity and employment eligibility of all new hires in the U.S.Travel occasionally to attend conferences and training.Obtain and use a Government-issued charge card for business-related travel.Click here for important information about OCC ethics standards, such as the requirement that new hires divest their bank securities.QualificationsYou must meet the following requirements within 60 calendar days after the closing date of this announcement:You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the NB-II payband level or GS-4 in the Federal service. Specialized experience is experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position and is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled.Examples of specialized experience for this position include: Experience performing financial support functions such as locating and assembling financial information or data, maintaining files and records related to financial transactions or processes, and using financial software to maintain and compile information.ORYou may substitute education for specialized experience as follows:You must have four years of education above the high school level in any field obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school,college or university.ORYou must have an equivalentcombination of experience and education. Only education in excess of the first 60 semester hours (i.e., beyond the second year) is creditable toward meeting the specialized experience requirement. One full academic year of study (30 semester hours) beyond the second year is equivalent to 6 months of specialized experience.The experience may have been gained in the public sector, private sector, or through volunteer service.
