Job Description

As a valued colleague on our team, you will provide expert advice and guide team members on building or developing functionality for a product. In this role, you will lead customer engagement activities to understand the requirements for products or product components.

THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE
The Lead Product Developer role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:

  • Help rive strategic initiatives, align teams, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and deliver on multiple complex technology projects.
  • Lead cross functional and technical teams to drive projects from conceptual design feasibility through requirements, completed design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
  • Consult with the team on the application of a customer experience-driven approach to design products.
  • Review existing products and advise on component updates as needed.
  • Lead the team to design and develop products to meet needs.
  • Use a customer experience-driven approach to design products and provides feedback to management.
  • Experience with cross-organizational communication to both technical- and non-technical audiences from engineers to upper management.
  • Thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial and fast-paced environment and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities are a must.
  • Lead implementation process and ultimate deployment of Strategic initiatives and other programs.
  • Stay current on the latest news, information, and trends about program management and the organization’s industry.
  • ManageAgile/SAFE methodologies.

Qualifications

THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

Minimum Required Experiences:

  • 4+ years of experience with software development lifecycle from conception to delivery
  • Prior experience managing cloud and/or Database based projects
  • Demonstrated knowledge of technical product development and engineering best practices
  • Experience solving engineering problems with multiple constraints
  • Strong judgment, negotiation skills, ability to influence
  • Abilityto distill data and articulate rationale for making difficult trade-offs and prioritizations
  • Experience developingand building trust relationships across teams
  • Experience facilitatingcross-collaboration and understanding between IT and other departments
  • Experience creating reports and insights for different internal and/or external audiences

Desired Experiences:

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent
  • 7+ years of experience with software development lifecycle from conception to delivery
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics
  • 7+ years of experience in product development of technical initiatives
