Network Administrator for our direct client.

Below is the job description for the position.

Position Title: Network Administrator

Location: Washington, DC

Required Minimum Qualifications:

Education:
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business or related field.

Experience:
• Minimum of 4 years professional experience with current Microsoft technology. An equivalent combination of training, education and experience which provides the required skills, knowledge and competencies will also be considered.
• 8+ years professional experience with current Microsoft technology, in lieu of education.

Competencies, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
• Strong experience in help desk support and customer service activities with demonstrated customer relations skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills required.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills, including the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical users.
• Must have the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with staff, customers and external vendors.
• Must have the ability to multitask and work on multiple projects with multiple deliverables.

Technology:
• Demonstrated technical knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server 2003, 2008, 2012 and 2016, Active Directory, MS Azure and Office 365.
• Experience implementing and supporting VMware vCenter and ESX Hypervisors, enterprise backup systems, and Storage Area Networks / SAN.
• Ability to configure Cisco networking devices to include switches and Cisco Meraki firewalls.
• Experience implementing physical and blade servers; Cisco Unified Computing System.
• Exposure to Cisco wireless LAN controller, MSSQL Server and Web Servers.
