Cayuse Shared Services (CSS) focuses on the internal business within the Cayuse Family of businesses. CSS provides HR Solutions for Cayuse employees, establishes relationships within the communities Cayuse operates in, and aids with business contract support.

We are seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist for government contracts. This position is remote, the candidate is preferred to reside in the Virginia / Washington D.C area.

Primary Focus

The Talent Acquisition Specialist - Government responsibilities include sourcing cleared and non-cleared professionals for government proposals, task orders, and awarded contracts.

Sourcing methodologies to include conducting specialized Boolean searches, utilizing resume databases, professional social media sites, and conducting internet research to identify individuals who possess specific skill-sets and clearances per the government's requirements.

The TA Specialist will conduct heavy sourcing, candidate outreach, monitoring staffing needs, and creating a pipeline of candidates to ensure the success of all submitted proposals and awarded contracts.

To be successful in this role, this individual should combine knowledge of sourcing techniques and research skills with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Performs all duties and responsibilities in accordance with the Core Values of Cayuse Holdings.

Duties

Conduct sourcing and outreach methodologies utilizing online professional social sites, resume databases, internet research, internal referral program, and the company's internal applicant tracking system database

Conduct specialized Boolean searches to identify hard to find skill-sets

Generate a high volume / high-quality pipeline of candidates under tight / strict timelines

Run salary surveys through the Payscale.com database to support the proposal team with pricing

Attend all required proposal meetings; accommodating HST, PDT / PST, MST, CDT / CDT, and EST time zones

Collaborate with program managers, program assistants, and the entire proposal team to confirm all specific requirements listed in the proposals and contracts statement of work

Extrapolate information from the provided statement of work documents to create job descriptions

Conduct informational calls with potential candidates and present to the Talent Acquisition team for submissions

Communicate with all potential candidates regarding the timelines of any pending contract starts or proposal delays

Gather requested information from potential candidates; letters of commitment, non-disclosure agreements, and / or obtain copies of any specialized certifications

Build a robust ongoing pipeline of candidates with particular skill-sets to ensure the success of all proposals, task orders, and contracts

Work closely with the Director of Talent Acquisition to ensure all personnel is filled and back-filled on awarded contracts

Post positions, manage incoming applications and incomplete applications and keep accurate records of all communication with applicants via the Applicant Tracking System

Other duties as assigned.

Skills : Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA's)

Education / Experience

Associates Degree required Bachelor's Degree, preferred

3-5 years of experience sourcing cleared professionals on a global scale

3-5 years of experience working directly with government contracts is preferred (DOD, DOS, and DHS experience is highly preferred)

Technical Knowledge

Extensive experience utilizing Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs)

Expert knowledge of professional social networks sites and resume databases

Expert knowledge of LinkedIn Recruiter

Strong internet research skills

Proven track record of meeting recruitment deadlines

Knowledge of labor legislation

Proficient in MS Office; Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel

Human Relationship Skills

Excellent interpersonal skills and experience building relationships with candidates and business partners

Ability to communicate well with others, both orally and in writing, using technical and non-technical language

Ability to prepare and present accurate and reliable reports containing findings and recommendations

Ability and willingness to quickly learn and put to use new skills and knowledge brought about by rapidly changing information and / or technology

Ability to perform a wide variety of duties, responsibilities, and handle various open positions simultaneously with accuracy and speed under the pressure of time-sensitive deadlines

Close attention to detail required with the ability to process and apply diverse and complex amounts of data

Team-oriented mentality

Must be a self-starter with a track record or producing results in a fast-paced changing environment

Ability to manage changing priorities, solve unfamiliar problems, and meet deadlines
