Work Experience:
The position is for a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst, who can work closely with IT software developers, operational maintenance teams and other QA Analysts, business clients, and IT technologists, to support an agile process for testing software and systems changes before they are moved into production.
Technical Skills:
The contractor should have experience testing complex applications with many components and writing test plans and test scenarios. This experience should include experience with database queries, Web application testing, knowledge of IT security and awareness of possible security vulnerabilities. This work will require strong analytical ability and oral and written communications skills and the ability to multi-task and take direction, handle stringent test deadlines and time and quality pressures. They should understand agile software development practices and have a thorough knowledge of the complete System Development Life Cycle.
