Provides support to the Information Technology, Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Infrastructure team by providing enterprise-level, high-performance, highly available Hosting and Service Provider services in direct support of the customer's business and mission needs
Supports all virtualization-based O&M tasking of deployed operational Infrastructure solutions backed by Citrix, Microsoft, NetApp, Nutanix, Veeam, and VMware
Works alongside the Senior Systems Engineer HCI and the customer's IT Architecture and Engineering (A&E) team to support the exploration, investigation, research, analysis, and assessment of new virtualization, storage, and data protection technologies, methods, and/or approaches to modernize and improve upon existing Infrastructure solutions
Experience Requirements:
5+ years of experience implementing, operating, and maintaining globally dispersed enterprise-level virtualization systems, backed by Microsoft, Nutanix and/or VMware, providing virtualization capabilities and service offerings such as Guest desktop and server virtualization to an IT enterprise
Demonstrated experience implementing, operating, and maintaining HCI solutions to provide virtualization, storage, data protection, and networking services and their capabilities to offer scalable converged compute and storage for enterprise-level consumers. Ideally this HCI experience would be based on the Nutanix ECP.
Education: Bachelor's degree from accredited University. If no degree is held, qualified candidates must possess one of the following certifications. CompTIA Security+ CE GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC) Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP) Other certifications may qualify as listed in the Navy Cool Cyber IT/CSWF Workforce Model.
Security Clearance This position will require an active DoD TS/SCI clearance; the ability to obtain and maintain a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph is required.
