Harmonia has an exciting opportunity for a

Systems Administrator to join our team in Washington, DC. The Systems Administrator will provide system administration and operation and maintenance support to current client infrastructure, workstations, and applications.

Other duties, in addition to the below essential job functions may be assigned to meet business needs.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Build integration points between People Soft and subsidiary applications.
  • Provide expertise and perform systems administration, operations and management support, and mid-level System engineering.
  • Ensure that all networks are monitored 24/7 to ensure minimal downtime and attain a 99.99999% uptime rate.
  • Implement and support a 24-month refresh cycle for all network related hardware and software.
  • Implement 24-month project plans to refresh hardware and software.
  • Perform regular system maintenance patch updates.
  • Provide supporting documentation for all network-related business, including network diagrams, SOPs, and user manuals.
  • Serve as the active first responder to issues and users located at the physical, local, and remote work sites.
  • Provide immediate repairs and/or resolutions to software, hardware, and operating system issues.
  • Responsible for maintaining and monitoring all physical and virtual systems including:
    • System health
    • Application Performance
    • Resource Allocation
    • Antivirus
    • Error reporting
    • Implement and maintain short-term and permanent backup solution
    • Maintain a fully functional, documented disaster recovery plan and conduct periodic failover tests and exercises
    • 24-month refresh cycle to hardware infrastructure and software as needed to maintain the system and to provide the latest technology
    • Monthly patch updates to the Systems including but not limited to provision of plan and key documents as well as assistance with security scanning
    • Customer support, including responding to help Tickets and requests for assistance; and providing desk-side assistance and group training
    • Maintain, operate, and improve the virtualized infrastructure
    • Maintain, operate, enhance, and improve the contingency operations site

Minimum Required Qualifications:
  • Due to customer requirements, US Citizenship is required.
  • Candidate must have a DoD active Secret clearance.
  • Must have at least 5 years of experience in a PeopleSoft administration role in support of maintenance updates and upgrades.
  • Experience in Support of PeopleSoft HR (release 9.0 or higher) system administration.
  • Experience building integration points between People Soft and subsidiary applications.
  • Experience with operating systems administration (Windows, Unix, Linux).
  • Experience applying updates to PeopleSoft applications.
  • Have experience with and provide support for security Authority to Operate (ATO) process and implementing security controls.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong customer service/client facing skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently to meet deadlines as needed, and collaboratively in a team environment.
