OverviewGMMB has an immediate opening for a full-time Talent and Culture (T&C) Specialist to join its dynamic Talent and Culture (T&C) team in Washington DC. The T&C Specialist reports to the VP, Talent and Culture.The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented person with project management, communication, problem solving and analytical skills. The T&C Specialist will manage and support a variety of T&C projects and initiatives, including employee onboarding, employee engagement, wellness, performance management, recruitment and payroll. They will also support a corporate wide comprehensive benefit program.They will have the opportunity to collaborate across multiple functions of Talent and Culture and the firm to support broader organizational objectives and solve business challenges through innovative talent solutions.ResponsibilitiesManage employee onboarding and offboarding program

Partner with Talent Acquisition to lead recruitment activities and manage GMMB’s internship program – ensuring that the program aligns with, and achieves, GMMB’s DEI plan and goals

Maintain accurate data in HR systems including data entry and ensuring data integrity

Assist in the coordination and management of HR projects and initiatives, including plan/timeline development, resource identification, organization, and communication

Manage all employee benefit programs including FMLA, disability, paid time off and open enrollment. Conduct monthly benefits orientation, field benefit inquiries, and develop benefits-related communications

Complete T&C reporting in compliance with federal laws and corporate policies prepare and distribute management reports

Support VP, Talent and Culture in managing performance management process

Administers bi-monthly payroll

Qualifications3+ years of experience working in a HR generalist or HR project manager capacity

College degree or equivalent

Demonstrated analytical and project management skills, including prioritization, organization, planning, and coordination

Experience with employee engagement, wellness, policy development, legal compliance, performance management and employee onboarding

Understanding of FMLA/STD, COBRA, and employee benefit plans a plus

Experience working both independently and, in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Excellent skills with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word,

Proven ability to perform with accuracy and attention to detail

Familiarity with ICIMS, ADP, PeopleSoft HRIS systems would be a plus
