We are seeking experienced, responsible dog walkers and pet sitters to join our team for the Silver Spring/Kensington Area.
It is required that our Dog walkers/Pet Sitters be available:
⢠Mid-Day Shifts: 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday
⢠Occasional Early Evenings: If Applicable
⢠Weekend Walks: Two Weekends a Month
⢠Ability to do In-House Pet Sitting is Preferred but not Required: Needed nights and weekends

Requirements:
⢠Must have current valid license and regular access to an insured and reliable car.
⢠Must pass a current criminal background check
⢠Must love and understand dogs and cats
⢠Must have a cell phone with texting services and daily access to internet
⢠Must be able to work in most weather conditions
⢠Must be willing to make at least a 6-month commitment to WPL
Candidates should also demonstrate:
⢠Good judgment in weighing best use of resources and dealing with sensitive information
⢠Self-motivation with great time management skills
⢠Excellent customer service, communication, and planning skills
⢠Extreme flexibility with a strong work ethic and an entrepreneurial spirit
⢠Ability to organize, set priorities, and follow through
WPL holds its walkers to a very high standard, and all must pass a seven-year background check.
