Data Analyst Location: Washington, DC (Locals to Washington, DC only) Duration: 6 Months with possible contract to hire
Description: Position Purpose: Responsible for data analysis, data model development, and reporting for the IT Sustainability Program, a program which manages and oversees the sustainability of infrastructure components across the enterprise.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities: - Extract and analyze data from multiple source systems - Create weekly and monthly reports for internal and external teams - Collaborate with team members to collect and analyze data and identify trends - Perform data and trend analysis to assist with overall data quality efforts - Identify opportunities to automate weekly and monthly reports
Position Requirements: Functional/Technical Skills: - Proficiency in SQL (MS Access or another database technology) - Proficiency in Excel - Experience with Power BI or other analytics tools - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Strong written/verbal communication skills
Experience: - At least 5 years of experience in data analysis experience using Excel and SQL - Experience with data warehousing and ETL is a plus
