Enterprise Architect, Rockville, MD
Alpha Omega is seeking a Jr. Enterprise Architect to help our client develop an Agency-wide technology roadmap by strengthening information and resources available to its Enterprise Architecture program in order to achieve the agency’s mission through optimal performance of its core business processes within an efficient information technology and health IT environment. The selected candidate will, at a minimum, support the Enterprise Architects in fulfilling the responsibilities listed in the Responsibilities section.
Responsibilities:

• Support the development of a comprehensive definition of all aspects of system development from analysis of mission needs to verification of system performance;
• Support the evaluation of system alternatives and assessment of risks and costs;
• Support analysis and maintenance of key agency Enterprise Architecture (EA) products, including current EA, target EA, and enterprise transition plan, enterprise standards profile, EA technical guidance, design patterns, and technology roadmaps;
• Support the development, selection, and tailoring of appropriate EA methodologies, frameworks, and approaches to address client objectives and drive the EA toward business results;
• Model and analyze enterprise business, applications, and technology environments;
• Facilitate stakeholder work sessions focused on making enterprise-wide decisions that balance and prioritize the competing interests of individual stakeholder groups;
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

• Knowledge of EA concepts, methodologies, techniques, and frameworks, including FEAF, and reference models, or Zachman, modeling techniques including BPMN is a plus;
• Experience as an Enterprise Architect;
• PlanView experience is a plus;
• 6+ months of experience providing support assisting customers in ensuring comprehensive documentation of information systems and resources;
• Experience in healthcare solutions and/or product development, technology-enabled consultative product management, product marketing, business development, and/or transformation roles is a plus;
• Ability to multi task and adapt/learn quickly in a complex client environment;
• Experience analyzing current infrastructure business processes to identify opportunities for automation;
• Experience evaluating and utilizing available tools in the enterprise and formulate the best usage;
