JOB TITLE: Information Assurance Engineer PROJECT OVERVIEW: The Information Assurance Engineer will provide a full range of IT and Cyber expertise. The qualified IA Engineer will contribute to a wide variety of projects in support of Department of Defense, other U.S. Government agencies, and private sector business customers. JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Services will include some or all of the following:
Employ IA expertise to the benefit of WBB and various clients/customers
Serve as an IA/Cyber subject matter expert working on project teams with other consultants representing multi-disciplinary skillsets
Contribute to the development of a variety of technical documents requiring IA best practices and Cyber content
Develop customer briefings and support meetings
Support bid and proposal efforts involving IA/Cyber expertise
Contribute to customer engagement and business development efforts
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: Security Clearance: Secret
Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance
Bachelor’s Degree
Greater than twelve (12) years of experience in developing, integrating, and executing Information Assurance, Cyber Security, and Information Security policy and programs
Program Management experience in full spectrum Information Technology project lifecycle management
Working knowledge of Department of Defense IA and Cyber policies, instructions, directives, and technical guidance
Demonstrated knowledge of the Risk Management Framework
Demonstrated knowledge of DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process
Demonstrated experience planning, implementing, managing, monitoring and upgrading cybersecurity measures for the protection of Enterprise IT and DoD Platform IT
Demonstrated experience identifying and analyzing threats and vulnerabilities to computer and information systems and developing cybersecurity solutions and policies to safeguard system operations and data
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Ability to work in a highly dynamic, complex, and deadline-intensive environment
Excellent writing and oral communication skills
Meet requirements for DoD 8570.01-M Information Assurance Manager (IAM) Level II Certifications: CAP, CASP+ CE, CISM, CISSP, GSLC, CCISO or IASAE Level II-CISSP, CISSP-ISSAP or IASAE Level II Certification-CISSP, CISSP-ISSAP
DESIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Active Top Secret clearance
Master’s Degree
Familiarity with Chief Information Officer duties and responsibilities
Innovative and driven work ethic
Experience with developing and testing Joint security architectures
Active duty military experience
C4ISR expertise
Federal Government service
