JOB TITLE: Information Assurance Engineer

PROJECT OVERVIEW:
The Information Assurance Engineer will provide a full range of IT and Cyber expertise.
The qualified IA Engineer will contribute to a wide variety of projects in support of Department of Defense, other U.S. Government agencies, and private sector business customers.

JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Services will include some or all of the following:
  • Employ IA expertise to the benefit of WBB and various clients/customers
  • Serve as an IA/Cyber subject matter expert working on project teams with other consultants representing multi-disciplinary skillsets
  • Contribute to the development of a variety of technical documents requiring IA best practices and Cyber content
  • Develop customer briefings and support meetings
  • Support bid and proposal efforts involving IA/Cyber expertise
  • Contribute to customer engagement and business development efforts

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Security Clearance: Secret
  • Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Greater than twelve (12) years of experience in developing, integrating, and executing Information Assurance, Cyber Security, and Information Security policy and programs
  • Program Management experience in full spectrum Information Technology project lifecycle management
  • Working knowledge of Department of Defense IA and Cyber policies, instructions, directives, and technical guidance
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the Risk Management Framework
  • Demonstrated knowledge of DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process
  • Demonstrated experience planning, implementing, managing, monitoring and upgrading cybersecurity measures for the protection of Enterprise IT and DoD Platform IT
  • Demonstrated experience identifying and analyzing threats and vulnerabilities to computer and information systems and developing cybersecurity solutions and policies to safeguard system operations and data
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Ability to work in a highly dynamic, complex, and deadline-intensive environment
  • Excellent writing and oral communication skills
  • Meet requirements for DoD 8570.01-M Information Assurance Manager (IAM) Level II Certifications: CAP, CASP+ CE, CISM, CISSP, GSLC, CCISO or IASAE Level II-CISSP, CISSP-ISSAP or IASAE Level II Certification-CISSP, CISSP-ISSAP

DESIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Active Top Secret clearance
  • Master’s Degree
  • Familiarity with Chief Information Officer duties and responsibilities
  • Innovative and driven work ethic
  • Experience with developing and testing Joint security architectures
  • Active duty military experience
  • C4ISR expertise
  • Federal Government service

WORK LOCATION: DC Metro Area

TRAVEL: 10%
