We are looking for a Network Architect to interface with our team and our clients to help assess the performance of IT infrastructures, establish baselines, and identify opportunities for optimization/improvement. We are looking for a team member with the following skills:
Undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering
5+ years of network engineering and network architectural design experience
Expert level experience with Cisco, Juniper, and/or Arista
Expert level experience with switching technologies (including STP, MLAG, VXLAN)
Experience with Load Balancing or Application Delivery Services
Experience with Enterprise Wireless solutions
Experience with Unified Communication solutions
Experience with network and application performance solutions
Experience working with or integrating various enterprise management systems
Solid understanding of other networking technologies (including TCP/IP, traffic analysis, TAPs, traffic brokers)
Excellent understanding of technology concepts such as SDLC, systems engineering, IT performance management, IT operations, operational monitoring, security monitoring, and KPIs
Knowledge of various IT infrastructure technologies (e.g. applications, servers, networks, storage)
Experienced leader of highly complex projects as part of a larger team
Excellent verbal and written communication skills including technical writing
If you have any of the following, it would be a bonus:
Active US Secret or Top Secret clearance
Strong programming skills in Python
CCNA, CCIE, JNCIE and/or CCDA certifications
Extensive experience in packet analysis (Wireshark)
Familiarity with ITILv3 concepts especially Service Operations
