We are looking for a motivated, energetic barback to join our growing team. In this position, you will be responsible for assisting our bartenders with service to keep the bar operational at all times. Therefore, a high-energy, can-do, friendly attitude is a must.
Barback Duties and Responsibilities
Restock liquor, mixers, and garnishes behind the bar
Perform bussing responsibilities such as clearing empty cups and trash from bartop and tables
Maintain the overall appearance and cleanliness of the bar (i.e., wipe down surfaces, push chairs and stools in, arrange drink menus and salt and pepper shakers, etc.)
Perform clean-ups of spills or other customer accidents as needed
Ensure bartenders are equipped with clean rags at bartending stations at all times
Clean glasses and bring dishes in the back of the house; adhere to dish-washing procedures
Ensure bartenders are equipped with clean glasses in front of the house at all times
Check and re-stock ice bins
Run food and drink orders to pick up area or tables
Assist managers with the back of house liquor inventory
Follow all opening, closing, and key-holding procedures during each shift
Ensure customer satisfaction by smiling and answering any questions our customers may ask
Barback Requirements and Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent preferred
Experience in barbacking or bussing preferred
Ability to perform well under pressure
Detail-oriented, organized, cleanly
Must be able to lift at least 30 lbs.
Must have a flexible schedule (may be required to work closing shifts, weekends, or holidays as needed)
