Hawthorne, the four story U Street bar, is hiring a bar manager. We're known for our delicious brunch, party atmosphere and popular rooftop bar.
The bar manager will work with the General Manager and corporate team to oversee bottomless brunch, assist with inventory, enforcing procedures and policies and executing private events. Hawthorne is a very busy bar and not everyone can handle calmly executing under pressure. The ideal candidate has worked in a high-volume bar atmosphere and is looking to take the next step in their career. This is a fun place concept where managers need to have an energetic and dynamic personality. We want someone with excellent leadership and organizational skills who loves providing great hospitality to guests.
