Puree Artisan Juice Bar is now hiring for a full time position in our commissary kitchen in Rockville, MD. Job Description:
-Operate commercial hydraulic press on a daily basis.
-Responsible for accuracy of recipes and cleanliness of machine.
-Become familiar with operations and parts and communicate effectively any deficiency or needs to Manager.
-Open to cross training and to learning all aspects of kitchen responsibilities, to fill in as needed.
-Participate in general kitchen responsibilities on a daily basis, such as cleaning, trash removal, organizing, packing.
-Follow directions and primarily responsible for food scraps recycling program.
-Communicates effectively with staff and manager
-Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and sanitation regulations.
-Be available 6 days a week, plus overtime, as needed.
Job Requirements:
Ability to follow recipes precisely.
Ability and willing to follow directions from supervisors.
An extreme attention to detail and high level of cleanliness.
Ability to learn quickly and work in a fast pace environment for a sustained amount of time.
After training and comfortable with recipes, able to work independently.
Ability to easily lift 40 pounds, daily and often, without strain or injury.
Spanish language skills a plus!
ServSafe Certificate is a plus!
Team player essential!
Must be able to start on 11/30 or earlier
