Position:
Washington D.C. baked good manufacturer has an opening for part time bakery position. This part time position is between 16-22 hours per week that is split between three days; Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. The hours of the shift are 9:30 am- 4:30 pm. An applicants flexible schedule is a plus.
Baker:
As a Baker, some of your duties will include following recipes and makeup procedures while preparing and baking items such as artisan breads, pastries, and bagels. You will work with ovens, mixers, slicers and proofers to bake products that meet the highest quality, freshness, and safety standards. . You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all food safety and sanitation requirements throughout your daily work. You will assist with cleaning and sanitizing food preparation areas, tools, and equipment. In some areas, you may be required to obtain a food handler's certification. Requirements:
3 plus years of kitchen experience.
To be able to work 6-8 hours consecutively on your feet.
To be able to lift 40 plus pounds at a time.
Work well with team members.
Be able to learn at a competitive rate.
