The Big Bear is interviewing for a new event chef, and sous chef for our busy farm-to-table kitchen.
You'll work in our private dining program in chef takeover events, private dining events, and special dinner events - and you will play a supporting role in running our breakfast and lunch service. You will execute our existing menus while helping with development of future menus, and developing specials.
The Big Bear is a bustling neighborhood cafe with a "growers only" farmers' market and large functioning herb garden, Our grape vine covered patio is ideal for outdoor dinners, large receptions, and wedding events.
There is room for growth - especially as the business expands.
We are looking for a candidate who values quality ingredients, who works well as a part of a team, who is exceptionally organized, and who loves food.
