Avar Consulting, Inc. is a social science research organization located in Rockville, MD. We are currently seeking a Bilingual Telephone Interviewer to join our team. The candidate must be able to speak and write in Spanish and English. The candidate will contact and communicate with individuals over the telephone in accordance with established procedures and protocols. Other duties include:
⢠Explain study objectives and procedures to respondents,
⢠Compile, record, and code results and data, and,
⢠Review data obtained for completeness and accuracy.
The Telephone Interviewer will possess the following qualifications: a high school diploma; strong inter-personal and communication skills; the ability to accurately record information; proficiency in Microsoft applications (such as MS Access and Excel); the ability to type at least 30 words per minute; the ability to work independently and as a part of a team; a friendly demeanor; the ability to speak and write in Spanish and English; and the ability to build trust with respondents.
Possession of any of the following experience is desirable: some college experience; prior experience working with Medicare beneficiaries; computer assisted telephone communication experience; and call center, research, and/or customer service experience.
