Our group endodontic practice is looking to fill a full time or part time dental assistant position for our practice in our Northern VA offices. We offer a dynamic team practice environment and competitive compensation. We will provide specialty endodontic training if needed. Candidate must live in Northern VA.
For a full time position we provide 2 weeks of paid vacation, a week of sick leave, inclusion into our profit sharing plan after a year with the practice and additional benefits. We also observe the major federal holidays.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Working with a team of dental assistants, practice administrators and endodontists
Creating and establishing a professional, positive and caring patient rapport
Completion of The Radiology Safety Course and certification by the Virginia Board of
Dentistry
Working with patients
Understanding the need for patient protocols as it relates to treatment and care
Following OSHA rules and regulations
Assisting "chair side" with the doctor and conducting clinician duties as directed by the doctor
Preparing sterile operatories for treatment
Lab preparation and organization
Maintaining a consistent supply inventory of the lab
Willingness to learn our software system as it relates to patient care and scheduling
Understanding the administrative and operational needs for the practice
Flexibility to travel to certain offices when occasionally needed
**Ability to be flexible is important as we are a group practice and some traveling may take place.
