We are looking for a fun loving individual who wants to join our pediatric dental family in Vienna, VA, as a dental assistant/sterilization technician. We hire based on personality and will train you for success! Must love children and work well in a team environment. Excellent compensation and benefits are available. We are a great team of professionals who are looking for an individual with strong communication skills, highly organized, self-motivated, positive attitude with a true desire to serve the needs of our patients.
This is a part-time position, with the opportunity to transition to full time. While our schedule is subject to change, below is an overview of our weekly schedule. Please note, we DO work on school holidays (i.e. spring break) and there are some weeks we work all 5 business days.
-Monday 8:00am-5:30pm
-Tuesday & Wednesday 8:00am-5:00pm
-Friday 7:30am-2:30pm
Candidate MUST have the following qualifications:
Love working with children
Able to multi-task
Dependable and detail oriented
Enthusiastic team player
Fluent in English with good communication skills
Basic computer skills required to operate dental program
Preferred one year of dental assisting experience
Treatment Room Management and Sterilization
Oversee cleanliness of the treatment room according to sterilization procedures in accordance with OSHA standards
Disinfect treatment room
Sterilize all instruments and hand pieces
Monitor supplies and report needs
Office Participation
Assist in other area of the clinic as necessary (i.e. Unpacking supplies)
Actively participate in staff meetings
Interact with other team members in a helping, friendly manner to accomplish our patient care mission
